Privacy Policy

Last updated:

Winners ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how you can exercise your rights. Please read it carefully before using our platform.

1. Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly to us and information collected automatically as you use our platform.

Account information: When you register, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and a password (stored as a hash). You may also optionally add a profile photo, educational background, and address.

Purchase information: When you buy a course, we collect billing details and transaction records. Payment card information is processed by our payment partner and is never stored on our servers.

Learning activity: We record which lessons you complete, quiz answers, exam scores, and time spent on the platform. This data powers your progress tracking and analytics.

Technical data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages visited, and crash reports collected automatically to ensure the platform works correctly.

2. How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Create and manage your account.
  • Deliver the courses, live classes, and assessments you enrol in.
  • Process payments and issue receipts and certificates.
  • Track and display your learning progress and performance.
  • Send important account notifications (e.g. password reset, class reminders).
  • Send optional marketing emails (you may unsubscribe at any time).
  • Improve platform features, diagnose technical problems, and prevent fraud.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

We never sell your personal data to third parties for their own marketing purposes.

3. Sharing of information

We share data only in the following circumstances:

Instructors: Instructors whose courses you enrol in can see your name, your enrolled status, and your assignment/quiz submissions so they can grade and support you.

Service providers: We work with trusted third parties for payment processing, email delivery, cloud hosting, and video infrastructure. They may access data only to perform services on our behalf.

Legal requirements: We may disclose information where required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users and the public.

Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your data may be transferred. We will notify you before such a transfer takes effect.

4. Cookies & tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and understand how the platform is used.

Essential cookies: Required for authentication and security. These cannot be disabled without breaking core platform functionality.

Analytics cookies: Help us understand which pages are most visited and how learners navigate the platform. You can opt out via your browser settings.

You can configure or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time. Note that disabling cookies may limit some features.

5. Data storage & security

Your data is stored on servers located in India and may be processed in other countries where our service providers operate. We apply appropriate safeguards — encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest, access controls, and regular security audits — to protect your information.

While we take reasonable precautions, no system is 100% secure. If you suspect unauthorised access to your account, contact us immediately at [email protected].

6. Data retention

We retain your account and learning data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to keep records for tax, legal, or fraud-prevention purposes (typically up to 7 years for financial records).

Anonymised, aggregated analytics data (from which you cannot be identified) may be retained indefinitely to improve the platform.

7. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights over your personal data:

  • Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you.
  • Correction — update inaccurate or incomplete data via your profile settings.
  • Deletion — request deletion of your account and associated data.
  • Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format.
  • Objection — object to processing for direct marketing at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.

Our platform is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us so we can delete it promptly.

9. Third-party links

Our platform may contain links to external websites (e.g. payment processors, social media, resource articles). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. We encourage you to read their privacy policies before sharing any personal information with them.

10. Changes to this policy
